Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Burn, including the iOS app, public profiles, teams, and the optional collector that runs on computers you control.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms. Keep your secured sign-in credentials safe. A guest account may be lost if you remove the app or change devices before securing it.
The collector
You may install the Burn collector only on a computer you own or are authorized to administer. The collector accesses supported local usage records and uploads allowlisted aggregates described in the Privacy Policy. You can inspect its source, disconnect it in Settings, and uninstall its scheduled job at any time.
Your profile and social activity
You are responsible for the handle, display name, visibility, check-ins, goals, team activity, and other profile signals you publish. Do not impersonate others, harass people, expose private information, manipulate activity, or use Burn for spam. You agree to the Community Guidelines.
Teams
Joining a team requires an invitation you accept. Owners and admins can manage roles and membership as shown in the app. Team access never authorizes Burn to collect prompts, code, files, or project names. Team owners are responsible for managing membership appropriately.
Moderation and enforcement
Profiles can be reported and blocked in the app. We may restrict visibility, remove profile material, suspend access, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal obligations, or violations of these terms. We may preserve relevant records as permitted by law.
Service and activity estimates
Burn is provided on an as-available basis. Agent formats, token accounting, prices, and third-party tools change; totals and cost estimates may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Rankings are for social context, not billing, financial, employment, or performance decisions.
Liability and changes
To the extent permitted by law, Burn is provided without warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. We may change the product or these terms and will post a new effective date. If you do not agree to a change, stop using Burn and delete your account.
