Community guidelines
Effective July 15, 2026
Burn should feel competitive without becoming hostile. These rules apply to public profiles, follows, teams, check-ins, goals, and every other social surface.
Be real
Do not impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent ownership of an account, coordinate fake engagement, or intentionally manipulate aggregate activity to deceive other people.
Respect people
Do not use names or profile material to harass, threaten, demean, target, or encourage abuse of another person or protected group. Competitive rankings are not permission to attack someone.
Protect privacy
Do not publish another person’s private information or use team access to expose activity beyond the audience that person chose. Burn does not need prompts, code, project names, or file paths; do not attempt to add them through profile fields.
No spam or abuse
Do not automate follows, invitations, reports, or account creation in a way that disrupts Burn. Do not probe collectors, accounts, APIs, or teams you are not authorized to access.
Report and block
Use the ••• menu on a public profile to report a concern or block that account. Blocking removes both accounts from each other’s social discovery and rankings. For urgent safety or privacy concerns, contact support@joinburn.app.
Enforcement
We review reports in context and may limit, remove, suspend, or terminate accounts based on severity, history, and risk. Deliberately false or abusive reporting can itself violate these guidelines.
